Finally the staining and painting is done (for now, at least). The back porch with a couple of coats of new paint to touch it up and my newly planted pansies in the hanging baskets:

My next projects include getting a new roof on this place, repainting the front door, and painting my bedroom ceiling.
Next up: restocking my freezer.

If you're painting ceilings, head southward...I'll pay you in cheese and wine.
When you told me that you were planning to paint your ceilings, I thought we ought to work out some kind of cooperative deal. Painting celings with a friend seems like more fun than doing it alone.
Not a bad plan. We should organize ceiling-painting weekend! And then a second ceiling-painting weekend in the other state!
