Our House

Now that I have new batteries in my camera, I can bring you some new posts. Since we returned from Kansas a few weeks ago, Kenna and I have been busy getting the house ready to go on the market. It was officially listed last Thursday and we have already had one showing with an open house scheduled for Tuesday morning and another one on Saturday. Several people have requested photos of what it looks like "staged" for showings, so here you are (more or less).

Pink tulips that I bought for the living room--they are leaning toward the window, reaching for the tiny amount of sunlight we are afforded every day.

The smaller of the two bedrooms downstairs (BTW, Father of Ken, I managed to fix the closet door so that it closes all the way now).

The second downstairs bedroom:

Master bedroom:

The loft, which serves as my study--this is where the magic of dissertation writing happens, gentle readers:

The secretary in the kitchen:

The dining area:

The rest of the kitchen:

The living room:

So, there you have it, gentle readers. Hopefully, we'll get an offer soon. I have no idea where I'm going after this, although I have lots of applications out there, but I hope that I'll be able to stay here until the end of May or June so that I can finish writing. Surely the threat of snow through the month of May will keep people from wanting to move anytime soon, right?
